Community Conservation Day

Wherever you live!Community Conservation Day was launched in 2020 as a way to bring 2%’ers together, around the world, to live out our individual commitments to conservation on the same day.
In its first three years, thousands of volunteer hours and tens of thousands of dollars have been raised on the day for ecosystems around the world.
How you engage in the day is entirely up to you, but here are some ways 2% Certified Brands and Individuals have encouraged others to join them in giving back:
Host a habitat cleanup in your local woods, trails, and waterways.
Host a civic engagement training to help conservationists engage their local governments on behalf of wildlife.
Host a fundraiser for your favorite conservation causes.
Use your social media accounts to advocate for your favorite conservation causes throughout the day.
Write up OP-EDs and blog posts for your local papers and outdoor publications, advocating for wildlife.
Host a youth education day, showcasing the wildlife and needs of the local ecosystem for families at the end of summer.
