We founded Smile Outside based our mission to use our books to educate and engage kids at an early age about wildlife, wild places and conservation.  We depict wildlife in a kid friendly, more realistic way than other books on the market, showing kids the real beauty of animals and their habitats.

Simply writing about conservation isn't enough for us though, we promise that no less than $.50 from each book sold will go straight to conservation organizations who create, protect and manage healthy lands, waters, and wildlife.  We also pledge no less 1% of our time volunteering to do hands on, boots on the ground, money where our mouth is, conservation.

The outdoors is a special place for us, a place where we grew up, spent priceless time with our family, and defines who we are.  We hope that our efforts provide the opportunity for our children's children to Smile Outside, just as we have been able to." - James Jubran, Co-Founder
